Carl Mudd

Founder/ President/ CEO

The Dermacare® Laser & Skin Care Clinics franchise system was founded by Carl Mudd in 2001. The vision was that, for the emerging field of non-surgical, non-invasive aesthetic procedures, the finest technologies conservatively provided by very well-trained medical professionals with an overriding emphasis on “Safety First” would be a winning formula.

Recognizing that best in class technology was required for every procedure offered, Mudd spent 3 years in the prototype clinic researching and analyzing all available technologies. For every procedure there are multiple technologies. Some work well, some do not work well, and some do not work at all. There is only one “best.” He identified the best technologies, and began franchising Dermacare® to Physicians across the nation, and internationally. We have been masters of technology ever since, carefully analyzing every emerging technology for true advances.

Today, 55 franchised Dermacare® clinics, focused on “Safety, Results & Value” have provided hundreds of thousands of aesthetic treatments to satisfied patients. Dermacare® has the best safety record of any major aesthetic provider.
